Here at Kirin Cresteds we aim to produce healthy show quality chinese crested puppies.

We are located near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a small family run kennel, my husband and I take great care to give the best to our dogs. They are pets first, and show dogs second. All puppies are raised indoors as part of the family. They undergo various stages of important socialization.

About the Kirin

A Kirin is a mythical creature from Japanese lore sometimes called the Asian unicorn. It is said good omen associated with serenity, great luck, and fortune. The Kirin is a chimerical beast resembling a deer with scales like a dragon’s covering its body. It has a tail like an ox’s and a flowing mane. Its body and mane are covered in brilliant holy fire. Its face is the picture of utter serenity. Because kirin are beasts of purity and goodness, they have been used in carvings and paintings as symbols of these virtues since early times. They are also seen as symbols of justice and wisdom. Because of their holiness, images of kirin frequently adorn temples and shrines.
